I phoned the bank this morning and spoke to a very cheerful woman. Her name was Jessica, same as my sister.  

I explained my situation with the house and she said there was really nothing she could do until I actually miss a payment. She took some notes and updated my account information and told me to call back on June 1st.

I had a legal pad next to me, ready to write down whatever she told me. Details about foreclosure, instructions about short sales, legal issues, etc.  

Here's what I wrote down: nothing and June 1st.
